Pricing Questions We Hear Most Often
How do we figure out how many guests?
A simple way to estimate your attendance is to take your invite list and reduce it by approximately 20%. We recommend using this estimated attendance when selecting your guest count on the rental agreement, as it determines your rental rate. If your guest count increases later, the appropriate rental rate will be adjusted before your final payment.
How much is the deposit?
Your deposit is 50% of the total rental fee. If you are adding an onsite ceremony, the ceremony fee is included when calculating your deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding.
Are there any additional fees we should know about?
We believe in transparent pricing. There are no hidden fees, service charges, or surprise costs added to your rental. Optional items, such as an onsite ceremony, alcohol service by Beaver Station, or other requested enhancements, are clearly outlined before you book.
What about sales tax?
As a nonprofit organization, Pennsylvania sales tax is not charged on Beaver Station’s rental fee, providing an additional savings compared to many venues.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes! You are welcome to purchase, craft, and supply your own alcoholic beverages. Alcohol may be served by Beaver Station staff for a service fee or by one of our approved bartenders, giving you the flexibility to choose the option that best fits your celebration and budget.
How do we secure our date?
Booking is simple. We’ll send you an electronic rental agreement where you’ll select your guest count, review the details, and electronically sign the agreement. Your date is officially reserved once the signed agreement and 50% deposit are received. We offer several convenient payment options, all with no processing fees.
